The Under 13 girls team performed well in their Region B final today. Although they have not qualified for the National Final, they did finish second of the eight teams with 334 points, only 16 points behind the winning team.
Adi Milton was our top points scorer winning hurdles scoring 26 points and jumping 4m21cm in long jump.
Anna Hardisty jumped a new PB in high jump (1m38cm) and Holly Brando won discus with a throw over 21m. Georgina Bagge ran a new PB in the 1500m whilst Olivia Almond came second in the 200m. The relay team finished second with Millie Leavold on the first leg, one of two year sevens in the team, the other being Ruby Self.
It is a number of years since a Beaumont team reached a Regional Final and, as always, they were a credit to the school.
