District Athletics
Championships, Thursday 13th June
Congratulations to the eighty plus athletes from year 7 to
10 who competed last Thursday at the District Athletics Championships in
Watford. The year 9 boys and year 10 boys finished 8th in their
competitions, with both the year 8 teams 6th. The year 10 girls were
5th and 7 boys and 9 girls 4th. The year 7 girls were the
highest placed individual team finishing 3rd.
In both the overall boys and girls competitions Beaumont was
placed 5th, which meant we were 3rd in the overall
combined competitions when the Senior age group results were added (Beaumont
were third in this competition).
Individually, over all five age groups we had 37 top 3
finishes and four school records were broken.
