Congratulations to the 7 year 9 athletes who were selected to compete in the County Pentathlon on the 4th May. Each athlete competed in 5 events (hurdles, high jump, shot putt, long jump and 800m) over the day, scoring points for each performance.
The top 4 athletes in each age group were selected for the county team and the top all round club athletes from all around Hertfordshire competed on the day.
In the Junior Boys age group, Declan Jackson finished 21st, Thomas Cooper 18th and Frank Motsi 16th out of the 55 athletes who completed the event.
Of the 4 athletes in the Junior Girls age group, Amelie Rodgers was 26th, Bea Towers 35th, Hannah McCorkindale Brown 16th and Niamh Gallagher 12th. 62 athletes competed in the competition.
All 7 Beaumont competitors should be really proud of their performances across the whole day in a really competitive and high quality competition, well done!
